I started working as a massage therapist 24 years ago. Starting with the basics of remedial massage then expanding my knowledge to move into the area of fixing pain.
Over the past 24 years I have studied many forms of body work under many great teachers. I feel that Steve Lockhart's approach - SLM Myotherapy - has brought all that I have learnt together in a simple and effective way of working on the body and fixing back pain.
The Body Work is a very safe and effective way of helping the body re-aline itself. It helps to re-hydrate soft tissue that may be adding to your pain. Once the body is given the correct conditions to heal, it will heal.
About 3 years ago I came across Functional Patterns. Functional Patterns is an exercise system that will help you have better standing posture and help you walk and run better. It will also help you build muscle, tone muscle, improve your sleep and balance your hormones.

On a personal level my interests are, surfing, NRL, I'm a posture nerd and I really love helping people.
